Louise was born in picturesque County Wicklow, otherwise known as the 'Garden of Ireland'. She grew up there and in other imagined, magical, places. As a child, she believed that cuddly toys and teddies come alive at night, and still isn't quite convinced that they don't. She's not sure which land she was in when she first connected with the Scribble Creatures, but when she moved to her current home in Pasadena, California, they followed her. Maybe they like the California weather, because nowadays they regularly knock on her pen and she lets them in.
